This course provides an up-to-date understanding of stress management in the workplace. It examines the risk factors involved, the legal parameters of workplace stress and the skills required to introduce performance improvement and best practice within corporate stress reduction. Now that all businesses are counting the cost of stress and its role in long-term sickness absence, the demand for effective stress management in the workplace is clearer than ever before.
The course is conducted over 4 days (2 training weekends). There will be continuous assessment throughout the course. A portfolio will be kept and assessed before the end of the course.
At the conclusion of the course a Certificate in Organisational Stress Management will be awarded. At this point the student will be able to present Stress Awareness workshops and seminars, conduct a basic Stress Audit / HSE Risk Assessment and advise businesses on a stress management strategy.
